“You can tell a lot about people by the way they treat staff in places like this”, my colleague Jan Collins said as we watched someone being quite unpleasant to a staff member in a cafe.
It was so unnecessary and revealed the type of person the customer was. If someone is ‘ever so nice’ to you, especially if they want something from you, but tends to be unpleasant or dismissive of staff in restaurants and cafes you can be sure of one thing, they are not a nice person.
